Our very first publication is now out!   The Faithful, the Fallen and the Forgotten - Sons of the Rhins in the Great War 1914-1918  is strongly researched book about individuals from the Rhins of Galloway who gave their lives during the First World War.  The book contains over 200 photos of these men and details of the lives of almost 500 men.  Details of around fifty of the men are included whose names are sadly not on local war memorials, but who had strong local connections.

This great new book is set to become a 'must have' for local schools, researchers and family historians.  Much of the information has been given to the author Julia C MacDonald by descendants of the men whose lives are described in the book.
